Content Ninja is operated by Digitallwork.hu Kft., a company registered in Hungary (European Union). We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). This page explains how you can have your personal data — including any connected Facebook / Instagram data and stored access tokens — deleted from our systems.

1. Delete your account in the app

If you have a Content Ninja account, you can delete it yourself:

1. Log in to the app at app.getcontentninja.com.
2. Open your Profile / Account settings.
3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems, including your connected Facebook / Instagram integrations and any Meta access tokens we stored on your behalf (see section 4 for details and timelines).

2. Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to your account — or you do not have an account but believe we hold personal data about you (for example, you submitted our demo request form) — send a deletion request to support@getcontentninja.com.

Please send the request from the email address associated with your account (or state that address in your message) so we can verify your identity. Use a subject line such as “Data deletion request”. No specific form is required.

3. Revoke the Facebook / Instagram connection

You can also cut off Content Ninja’s access directly on Facebook, without contacting us:

1. Open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings.
2. Go to Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
3. Find Content Ninja and click Remove.

Removing the integration invalidates the access tokens we hold. If you also want the data already stored in our systems to be erased, additionally delete your account (section 1) or email us (section 2).

4. What is deleted, and when

Within 30 days of your account deletion or of receiving your verified deletion request, we permanently erase:

• your account data (name, email address, company name);
• product data imported from your webshop (names, descriptions, images, prices, categories);
• Facebook and Instagram access data, including all stored Meta access tokens;
• your MailerLite API key and any subscriber data accessed through it;
• data you provided via our demo request form.

Exception: data we are legally required to retain is kept for the statutory period only — in particular, invoicing and accounting records must be retained for 8 years under the Hungarian Accounting Act (Act C of 2000). Such data is not used for any other purpose and is deleted once the retention period expires.

5. Confirmation and contact

We confirm the completion of every deletion request by email. If you have any questions about the process, or you have not received a confirmation within 30 days, contact us at support@getcontentninja.com.
